The members of our Altar Guild serve God by caring for the altar of St. Andrew’s church. They prepare for all services, assist the clergy as needed, and clean up after services. They care for the clergy vestments, altar linens and vessels, and they arrange flowers for the altar.
Ideally, the guild operates in teams of two, with each team serving for one month twice a year. Each team prepares for the Sunday service and weekday services (when needed), as well as baptisms, confirmations, weddings, funerals and memorial services.
